Stretch film is a versatile material used in packaging and shipping applications to securely wrap and protect products. The film is typically made from polyethylene, a lightweight and durable plastic material that can be stretched and pulled to create a tight, secure seal around items of various shapes and sizes.
Stretch film is available in a variety of sizes, thicknesses, and colors to meet the needs of different industries and applications. Common applications include wrapping pallets and boxes, bundling smaller items, and protecting furniture and other bulky objects during transportation.
One of the key benefits of stretch film is its ability to conform to the shape of the item being wrapped, creating a custom-fit barrier that helps prevent damage and minimize the risk of tampering or theft. The film is also highly resistant to tears, punctures, and other types of damage, making it a reliable and cost-effective packaging solution.
Stretch film dispensers are a complementary tool used in conjunction with stretch film to make the wrapping process faster, easier, and more efficient. A stretch film dispenser typically consists of a handle or frame that holds the film roll in place and allows the user to dispense the film smoothly and evenly.
There are two types of stretch film dispensers available in the market: handheld stretch film dispensers and machine stretch film dispensers. Handheld stretch film dispensers are portable and lightweight, making them ideal for small-scale applications or on-the-go wrapping. They are designed to hold the stretch film roll securely in place and provide tension control, allowing the operator to wrap the product or pallet quickly and efficiently.
Machine stretch film dispensers, on the other hand, are larger and more sophisticated than handheld dispensers. They are typically used in high-volume operations where a large amount of stretch film is required to wrap products or pallets. Machine stretch film dispensers can be either semi-automatic or fully automatic and are designed to wrap products with consistent tension and accuracy. They are also equipped with features such as automatic film cutters, variable speed controls, and electronic displays to monitor and control the wrapping process.
When selecting a stretch film dispenser, it is important to consider factors such as the type of product or pallet being wrapped, the volume of wrapping required, and the level of operator experience. Handheld dispensers are typically more affordable and easier to use, making them a good choice for small businesses or low-volume operations. Machine dispensers, on the other hand, offer greater speed and efficiency, making them ideal for high-volume operations or complex wrapping applications.
The way of use
The stretch film distributor is used to slice various types of plastic films by adjusting the width, thickness and size of the hot press head.
Suitable for: plastic film, BOPP film, PVC film and other kinds of plastic film.
Stretch film dispenser has the following features:
- 1. Plastic films of different widths can be cut, and there is a separate hot press head;
- The width and thickness of the plastic film can be adjusted by adjusting the hot press head, and no wires will be generated;
- It is convenient to cut plastic plates of different lengths and connect them at the same time;
- Use in various situations.
Characteristic
- The biggest feature of stretch film dispenser is that it can cut polymers of different lengths, and can be adjusted at will within a certain range.
- Because the stretch-film dispenser can be connected to different places by hot-pressing attachments, it is usually used to connect one or more parts of different types or specifications. Stretch film dispensers come in many types, from single – to double-ended, and come with adjustable hot-press heads.
- Stretch film distributor is also widely used in polymer packaging, such as PP stretch film distributor, PE stretch film distributor, EVA/POM stretch film distributor, etc.
- If the customer has higher requirements for the size and length of the stretch film dispenser, the customer can also obtain a longer or shorter size stretch film dispenser by ordering a customizable size model from the supplier.
Material
Stretch film materials include polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE), etc., can be used in electronic and electrical industry, wire and cable industry and other plastic products production and processing industry. Stretch films are usually thin films with a thickness of 0.1-0.35 mm. Its tensile strength is generally relatively high, elongation at break is also relatively good, so the tensile film is often used in cable.
Stretch film distributor is generally divided into single – head distributor and double – head distributor. Single head distributor is suitable for electronic and electrical products, and double head distributor is suitable for wire and cable products.
Structure
The stretch film distributor is composed of a main body, a connecting joint, an accessory and a hydraulic system, and a hot press head is arranged on the outer wall of the main body.
Operating process
- First, put the parts to be cut into the prepared mold, and heat the mold to make it melt, and then peel the plastic on the surface to be cut.
- Then press the torn plastic together with the hot press head on the mold through the hot press head, and seal with the hot shrink film.
- Heat the hot melt sealing machine (or other sealing machines can be used) to a certain temperature, and then use a tool called “hot melt sealing” to heat the hot melt film.
- Before sealing the hot melt film must ensure that it has been completely melted.
- Next, you can push the molten material in the hot melt sealing machine to the sealing interface until the whole sealing.
- Use the “hot press head” to press it on the seal, and then use glue to stick the sealed part together.
Sinyar has a new product launch-stretch film bolt and pre stretch film, this film is just 5mic thick, 38cm wide, and 480m in length. The pre stretch film can effectively save the cost of use.
This is lighter and longer in meters than a normal stretch film but can wrap as much product as a heavy wrap. (The stretch film bolt can be given as a gift)
The stretch film bolt effectively prevents cutting fingers, operating employees do not need to bend over.
In conclusion, stretch film and stretch film dispensers/blot are essential tools used in various industries to protect products during transportation and storage. Whether you choose a handheld or machine dispenser, selecting the right tool for the job is important for ensuring efficient and effective wrapping.
